I have been learning about the dangerous chemicals in everyday products for over 7 years now. I became interested when my son was always sick with allergies and sinus infections. Ultimately, we found out that his immune system was compromised along with his digestive system. The products that he started using and the different lifestyle strategies, started my quest for better alternatives. The doctor recommended some excellent nutritional supplements and this same company also provided organic skin care products. With the knowledge that I have learned, I would like to pass it on to others who are interested in staying healthy and possibly preventing many diseases.
The personal care industry declares the toxic chemicals are in products at just trace amounts. Medical research, including Tufts University, Boston Research Center, and Centers of Disease Control have found these chemicals absorb through the skin and often remain in fat tissue for indefinite periods of time. Perhaps the most dramatic recent example was the revelation that Parabens - a chemical used as a preservative in many personal care products - were found in breast tumors.
"Natural" is an over-used and misused word to make the general public think that a product does not contain any chemicals, and that it must, therefore, be good for you. Unfortunately, you will find dangerous chemicals such as Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, DEA, Imidazolidinyl Urea, etc. in most "natural products."
We offer healthy solutions that are free from toxins and harmful chemicals.
